The following is an explanation of the matters needing attention in valve installation.



1. When installing the valve, it is necessary to clean the inner cavity and sealing surface, tighten the connecting bolts evenly and check whether the packing is tightened.



2. The valve is in the closed state at the time of installation.



3. Large size gate valves and pneumatic control valves should be installed vertically so as not to deviate to one side because of the larger weight of the valve core, which will lead to leakage.



4. Have a set of correct installation process standards.



5. Valves should be installed in accordance with the allowable working position, but attention should be paid to the convenience of maintenance and operation.



6. The installation of globe valve should make the flow direction of medium consistent with the arrows marked on the valve body. For valves that do not open and close frequently and need to be strictly guaranteed that they do not leak in the closed state, they can be refilled to make them close by means of medium pressure.



7. When tightening the pressure screw, the valve should be in a slightly open state to avoid damaging the sealing surface of the valve top.



8. Before locating the cryogenic valve, the opening and closing test should be done as far as possible in the cold state, requiring flexibility without jamming.



9. The liquid valve should be equipped with a valve stem at an inclined angle of 10 degrees with the level to avoid liquid flowing out along the valve stem, and more seriously to avoid leakage.



10. After bare cooling, the connecting valve flange of large air separation tower is pre-tightened once in cold state to prevent leakage at room temperature and at low temperature.



11. It is strictly forbidden to climb the valve stem as a scaffold during installation.



12. After all valves are in place, they should be opened and closed again. Flexibility without stuck is qualified.



13. Valves should generally be positioned before piping is installed. Piping should be natural, not hard pulled in the wrong position, in order to avoid leaving prestressing force.



14. Non-metallic valves, some hard and brittle, some low strength, operation, opening and closing force can not be too large, especially not strong. Attention should also be paid to avoiding collisions between objects.



15. When handling and installing valves, beware of bumping and scratching accidents.



16. When the new valve is used, the packing should not be pressed too tightly to avoid leakage, so as to avoid too much pressure on the valve stem, speed up wear and tear, and hard to open and close.



17. Before installing the valve, make sure that the valve meets the design requirements and relevant standards.



18. Before installing the valve, the inside of the pipeline should be cleaned to remove impurities such as iron chips and prevent foreign inclusions in the sealing seat of the valve.



19. The high temperature valve is installed at normal temperature. After use, the temperature rises, the bolt expands and the clearance increases. Therefore, it must be tightened again. This problem should be paid attention to, otherwise it is easy to leak.



20. Install the valve to confirm whether the direction of medium flow, installation form and the position of handwheel conform to the regulations.
